Ron Morehead

Author/Adventurer

Ron Morehead

Ron Morehead has been known for decades for his world-wide research into the Bigfoot/Sasquatch phenomenon. He is an author, researcher, lecturer, experiencer, and producer of the Sierra Sounds. To date, he comes closer than any other researcher to having a complete body of evidence. The Sierra Sounds are the only Bigfoot recordings that have been scientifically studied, time-tested, and accredited as genuine. Ron has documented his personal interactions with these giant beings and produced his story on a CD and also in a book, “Voices in the Wilderness.” In order to try and understand the enigmas associated with these giants, he began to delve into Quantum Physics for the scientific answers that he and his hunting friends experienced, and as a result he wrote another thought-provoking book,” The Quantum Bigfoot.” Ron now resides with his partner, Keri, in North Carolina, but has traveled from Alaska to Patagonia and from North America to Siberia in search of the truth to how these beings are able to stay so hidden from Classical science. Besides being the keynote Speaker at many conventions, he has been featured on countless radio programs and TV documentaries such as the Learning Channel and Travel Channel.

MK Davis

Patterson - Gimlin Footage

MK Davis

For the last 28 years M.K.Davis has been researching the subject of Sasquatch. M.K.'s quest initially began quietly with his interest in astro-photography where he gained experience with film and how to photograph the faintest objects in the heavens. It was during this time, all those years ago, that M.K. saw two very high quality frames from the famous Patterson Bigfoot film and they were nothing like what was commonly shown on television and the media. M.K. then began an inquiry into this famous piece of cinema that has taken him around the country until he had obtained the highest quality frames from the film. From there he reprocessed the frames and removed all hand motion to produce the clearest and most stable version of the film to date. This led to a wider pursuit in search of the answers such as "What is the nature of the Sasquatch?" and "What is the importance of the Sasquatch and how does it relate to each of us?" M.K. has travelled to and hiked many of the major wilderness areas in his quest for the answers to such questions. From Bluff Creek in Northern California to the Jarbidge Wilderness in Northern Nevada and down to Death Valley and Joshua Tree National Parks in the Mojave desert, Texas hill country, Louisiana swamps, The Everglades, and most everywhere in between, M.K. has been there. M.K.Davis has been married to Debbie Davis for 46 years and they have four children and five grandchildren along with their dog Buddy and cat Neffi. M.K. has enjoyed a long career in the Chemical industry and now devotes his spare time to researching the unexplained.

Janice-Carter.jpg

Janice Carter

Co-Author Fifty Years with Bigfoot

Janice Carter

You can't discuss Bigfoot in Tennessee without mentioning this woman. One of the most controversial figures in all of Sasquatch research, Janice was one of the very first people to publicly describe her experiences with growing up alongside Sasquatch, asserting throughout the years that Bigfoot/Sasquatch are a type of Human/People. Her story of how her Grandfather developed a life-long relationship with a male Bigfoot, "Fox", and his family, in Eastern Tennessee, that lived and interacted with him and carried over to Janice, was simply too incredible for many people and researchers to believe. Having endured considerable ridicule and harassment because of my testimony that "Fox" and his clan, as well as other Sasquatch people have culture, social structure, language, and human intelligence, Janice stands by her convictions and claims, and hopes to help and aid others whom might be close to having breakthrough interactions with their own resident Sasquatch peoples. Janice was closely involved with a Kentucky case resulting in video evidence included in the Erickson Project. One of the first to offer up Sasquatch samples for DNA analysis in 2002. Involved with Melba Ketchum's Sasquatch Genome Project, Janice's contributions of Fox and 6 of his family members have been a part of those studies. Janice is currently consulting and helping with and involved in habitation research cases of these unique people all over the South, as she and other like minded researchers take the cultural anthropologist approach in their studies of the Sasquatch people. It is Janice's hopes/ goals that we will be able to have these Indigenous People recognized officially, so that we may preserve areas for their future livelihoods.

MattSeeber.jpg

Matt Seeber

Founder of the East Tennessee Bigfoot Research Organization

Matt Seeber

Matt Seeber was born and raised in east Tennessee. With the exceptions of a couple years in Texas and Missouri, he has always lived within 10 miles of his birthplace. He has had an interest in the subject of Bigfoot since "The Mysterious Monsters" was presented by Peter Graves on TV in the 70's. In 2005, he was plunged deeply into the subject when his then 15 year old son had an encounter in their back yard in Roane County. Since that time he has been investigating reports in the area. He was partnered with several researchers, hunters, and hikers...speaking with people and searching for evidence. He has found several tracks and heard some strange things in the woods. However, he is not an eyewitness. He has been fortunate enough to meet many reputable investigators. He has been featured on Animal Planet's "Finding Bigfoot" and "Monsters and Mysteries in America". He has also been interviewed On Tubi's documentary "Scariest Monsters in America". Matt can also be found on local podcasts.

Randy.jpg

Randy Hutchings

Fortean TN Lead Field Investigator

Randy Hutchings

Randy Hutchings has been a field investigator for several Bigfoot research organizations in Middle Tennessee since the mid nineteen-nineties, with his primary areas of research being in the Cumberland Mountains and Cumberland Plateau region that makes up the Eastern and Middle boundaries for the state. Though he's spent most of that time investigating and interviewing experiencers on the subject of Bigfoot, several other odd fortean topics raised their heads over the years, drawing him and the rest of the Fortean TN team into exploring the UFO/UAP phenomenon, dozens of cases of fortean archeology within the state (out of place or supposedly non-existent items/sites found within the state), as well as interviewing witnesses whom had sightings and encounters with what can only be described as "2ft tall little people" seemingly native to the cave-heavy Cumberland Plateau region - the same general region that in the mid-1800's, thousands of graves were discovered by a local farmer in Hillsboro TN named James Brown - graves containing the remains of 2ft tall adult "Tennessee Pygmies".

Gato.jpg

El Gato Hero

Fortean TN Field Investigator

El Gato Hero

Orginally hailing from Corpus Christi, Texas, Gato found his way into Bigfoot and other fortean research somewhat accidently, having been shown recently recorded video footage of an encounter when he stopped randomly to visit with a friend in Tennessee. This led to his curiosity being peaked enough that when asked if he'd like to join them on an outing, Gato found himself joining other members of Fortean TN on expeditions into their several active research areas in an attempt to better understand what they were experiencing and others state and nation wide were reporting. It was on one such early trip that Gato was lucky enough to have an up close, first hand experience with a chocolate-brown haired "spider-walking" female Sasquatch which did nothing but steady his resolve towards continuing his personal search for more answers to the steadily growing questions every new encounter raised. Since then, for several years now, Gato has been doing field investigative work with other members of Fortean TN, interviewing experiencers and eyewitnesses along the Cumberland Plateau region of Middle Tennessee, as well as being the teams spelunking specialist.

Kelly Shaffer

Founder of K2 Paranormal Research

Kelly Shaffer

After living in three haunted houses and experiencing the paranormal since childhood, Kelly became a weekend paranormal researcher in 2010 after watching Ghost Hunters and going on her first public ghost hunt with Amy Bruni at the Phoenix Theatre in Petaluma, California. At the beginning of 2018, Kelly formed K2 Paranormal Research and became a full time (nearly) paranormal researcher with a focus is historic hauntings. This venture perfectly blended her passions for history and the paranormal. In her work as a historic haunting researcher, Kelly attempts to connect paranormal activity to a historic event or the people associated with a property. In 2023, Kelly took a leap back into her first passion, storytelling, and began to write about her adventures in the paranormal world for a book entitled, “The Paranormal Pages.” Two of the stories can be found in the February-March Nationwide and International and the March California editions of “American Paranormal Magazine.” The book is currently with the editor and is slated for release by American Paranormal Press in early 2024. Kelly lives in Portland, Tennessee with her dog, Diamond. When she’s not researching, ghost hunting, or writing, she’s planning her next adventure. You can also find her riding the backroads of Tennessee on “Freedom,” her 2015 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Classic.

Damion-Christy.jpg

Damion Christy

Co-Founder and Director, RKB Paranormal Producer and Host, Life Beyond Six Feet

Damion Christy

Damion Christy has experienced the paranormal by witnessing vivid apparitions and other unexplainable activity since the age of three. In his teenage years, he and his friends, Josh Barber and Keith Bellar, could be found in a cemetery or an abandoned house rumored to be haunted rather than the usual teenage parties. As they grew into adulthood, the dream of starting an actual paranormal investigation team was something the three of them regularly talked about and planned. The travel and excitement of investigating haunted locations all over the world drew them deeper into the paranormal and a team of their own seemed a natural progression. Unfortunately, their dreams came to a heartbreaking halt in June of 2011 when Keith, who’d become a police officer in their hometown of Dickson, Tennessee, was shot and killed in the line of duty while responding to a domestic call. In June of 2020, Damion and Josh honored their fallen friend by using Keith’s initials in the name of their new team, RKB Paranormal. The current RKB Paranormal team consists of Damion, Josh, Damion’s wife, Kelley, their 16-year-old son Jacob, Josh's girlfriend, Ashley and Kelley's sister, Julie. Together the six pursue the paranormal in search of answers to what happens after we die. In July of 2022, Damion expanded his paranormal resume to include podcast producer and host of the podcast, “Life Beyond Six Feet.” The podcast is currently available on nearly all podcast platforms and heard around the world by like-minded paranormal enthusiasts. Damion and Kelley live in the Dickson, Tennessee area with their three children and their dog, Sandler.

Cryptid_Creatures.jpg

Cryptid Creature Podcast

Todd Stevens

Mr. Stevens interest in cryptozoology at a very young age in the 70's after seeing the famous Patterson-Gimlin footage. Along with an interest in monsters in general, Bigfoot had his curiosity as it was promoted much more in that era. Much of his interest came from the idea of how or why this phenomenon was being kept secret or regulated to a hoax by many. Whatever started the legends? Obviously people were encountering something. After years of research and deeper investigation into the subject, Mr. Stevens realized it wasn't just Bigfoot that people were reporting seeing, and he began looking in to Dogman, Jersey Devil, lizard-creatures and other cryptid phenomenon as well. Now through Cryptid Creatures Podcast, Mr. Stevens and his co-host dwelve deep into interviewing guests whom have had encounters and experiences, documenting as much as they can towards helping explain and explore the mysteries associated with these cryptid creatures.

Brian Brock

Mr. Brock's infatuation with cryptids and the paranormal began at an early age. The shows of the late 70's and 80's, particularly the episode where the Six Million Dollar Man fought Bigfoot, had a huge influence on his love for all things Bigfoot, cryptids and monsters. The monster movies of the 1980's only helped solidify these feelings, so when the technology became available for podcasting, Mr. Brock knew it was a platform that could aid him in reaching out to others, to discuss these oft times secretive topics, which eventually led to a nation-wide radio show on WDJY 99.1FM.
